Our holiday packages and Christmas cards for our soldiers have started to arrive at their bases overseas, just in time for the Christmas holidays. A special "thank you" to all who so generously donated items to this very important ministry.

Jeff Gates is home on leave with his family and has already made a quick visit to Good Shepherd to visit his mother, Mrs. Achilles, and her students. It was great to see him in uniform, walking our halls once again. Many of his former teachers had a chance to say "hello", and we hope he will have another chance to come back and spend a little more time with our students.

Please continue to keep all of these brave men and women in your prayers, especially over the holiday season, as they serve our country overseas and are away from their families!
