Hello Everybody!!  Welcome to J. Everett Light Career Center's Veterinary Assisting web page.  This is a brand new adventure for me, so be patient as I work out the bugs!!  I will try to post any announcements on a regular basis.  This way you can always check to see what the upcoming events may be.  Enjoy our new web site!!<IMG border=0 align=absMiddle src="/Controls/DHtmlEditor/Images/emsmile.gif"> <IMG border=0 align=absMiddle src="/Controls/DHtmlEditor/Images/emsmileo.gif"> Scrubs have been fitted and a slip will be sent home with your student for cost.  Checks can be made payable to JELCC.  Scrubs must be paid for before receiving.  Students must have scrubs prior to the first day of Clinicals, March 12th. <IMG border=0 align=absMiddle src="/Controls/DHtmlEditor/Images/emteeth.gif"><IMG border=0 align=absMiddle src="/Controls/DHtmlEditor/Images/emcrook.gif">If your child is from a school that is not North Central, here are the snow plans.  If your student is an AM student and your school is on a two hour delay, your child does not report to JEL or to their clinical site.  If your child is a PM student and your school is on a two hour delay, your child is expected to be here as soon as there school allows.  If your child school is closed for both AM and PM, they are not expected to be at JEL.  If your child is a North Central Student, please follow Washington Townships School delays and closings. <IMG border=0 align=absMiddle src="/Controls/DHtmlEditor/Images/emwink.gif">We have started selling Ozark Delight Lollipops for a $1.00.  Your student is responisble for a 60 count bag. <IMG border=0 align=absMiddle src="/Controls/DHtmlEditor/Images/emclock.gif">Second Year students have began their last clinical rotation to small animal practices.  They will be out until March 2nd and return to the classroom on March 5th.
