Wax Museum Student Folders

I use individual, 2 pocket folders to keep my students organized during the six weeks of preparation for our Living History Wax Museum.  I have them filled and ready to go on the day I launch the program.  This folder will house the biography they choose to read, a letter to parents introducing the project, a graphic organizer to take notes with and directions for costumes and background space. The children keep their work in this folder throughout the six weeks of preparation.  This not only helps the children stay organized but also serves as a source of information for parents.

Use this cover to decorate and create uniformity for your students' folders.

This letter to parents will inform families of our project and give them a time line of events to work toward.

Directions for costumes and backgrounds will give parents a set of guidelines to follow and clarify expections.

Background pictures give parents and students examples of past museum backgrounds.
