Flutes work counter melody at #52. The Flute part tends to fall behind in
#53.

Practice from #26 to 36. Trumpets take a good look at #26. 2nd Trumpet make sure you count the rhythm
correctly at #27. At times you
play too few eighth notes.
Percussion work for rhythmic accuracy in the snare drum part.
Band Piece IV

Flute and Clari. work on melody at #21. Clarinets work on the Bb’s at #21. Make sure go back to B Natural at
#25.

Work at 101. Spend a lot to time at #115. This section needs to be counted
carefully as parts overlap.
Band Piece III
(10 minutes)
Pinnacle
Practice from 36 to the end. Clarinet and Alto continue to refine the melody at
#36. Practice the counter melody
in the flutes at 44.
Band Piece IV

Percussion work on the solo section at #41. Everyone work on the Chorus at #49.
