Hello. I am a mother of 4 grown children and a grandmother of 1 energetic
seven year old. My mother-in-law, my husband and my children all went to
school here. When I started working in the library, it was on the third floor
in what is now the Jr. High Math room. We certainly have grown and changed
over the years!
I am a graduate of Purdue University and have worked in libraries since I was
in high school. I have worked in the Saint Joseph County Public Library, the
Purdue University Libraries and the University of Notre Dame Libraries.
I think I have the perfect job! I get to combine my love of books and
technology and share both with students and staff. I hope you enjoy the
library as much as I enjoy working here!
The mission of the St. Joseph Grade School Library is to provide an environment
where students have access to resources and services that will enable them to
become life-long learners and active participants in a dynamic society as well as
thoughtful and ethical users and creators of ideas and information. The School Library
seeks to be an advocate for literacy and to instill a love of reading, in all its varied
formats, in all students.
