Monday, May 21, 2012 8R & 8W: TSWBAT complete their teacher appreciation speeches. *Teacher speeches will be on Wednesday, May 23 at 9:00 A.M - 10:00 A.M. 7L: TSWBAT revise their body paragraphs of their persuasive essays. TSWBAT read their Walter Dean Myers novel and discuss the plot. TSWBAT read passage D and identify Wordly Wise/Lesson 9 vocabulary. Activities: SSR, Literary Discussion, Vocabulary Definitions, and Writers' Workshop Homework: Lesson 9/Wordly Wise - Exercise A Read for 20 minutes - your Walter Dean Myers novel and record time and pages from start to finish. Final Draft is due, Friday, May 25 Vocabulary Presentations - Wordly Wise/Lesson 9 - Friday, May 25
