These are the assignments for the week!
Reading- Hooray! We have new readers! Please practice "An Egg Is an Egg"
pgs. 12-35. We have attached words and sentences from the story.
Math- Math facts up to 10 should be memorized. Please begin to memorize
facts with sums from 11-20 now. Miss Eaton's math class is on subtraction
mad minutes now. We are really moving!
Shurley- We are learning about prepositions. Now our sentence pattern is A
ADJ SN V ADV PP. The PP is a prepositional phrase such as: at the car, in
the yard, and over the fence. Now our sentence patterns are complete!
Please make sure your child has the 6 rules of capitalization memorized.

Spelling- We have new spelling words- my, by, try, any, body, fly, cry,
lucky, silly, puppy, things, always, and holy.
Science- We are ready for Ch. 4.
Social Studies- We are studying holiday customs from around the world. We
will begin Unit 4 in January. We are half way through our social studies
books.
