Study Hall Policy

*Students who have been assigned to Study Room to complete a test or quiz or make-up work are allowed.

* Students who have a doctor's note stating that they are not to go to recess are allowed.

* Students who came to school inappropriately dressed to go outside (i.e. young ladies in skorts/skirts without tights and/or sweatpants to pull over their bare skin) will be assigned to Study Room.  These students will need to have something to work on, and they will lose a strip.

No one else will be allowed to stay in for Study Room.  If they want to quiz each other, they can do so at the picnic tables on the playground or in a corner of the gym.  Likewise if they want to read a book, study alone, or work on homework.  Study Room is not to be used as punishment.  This just adds to the noise level and interrupts the concentration of students who really need to be there.

Greetings

I am having a great year, and I hope your child is as well. It is a privilege to teach at a Catholic school.

Remember

If you have a problem, you don't understand an assignment, anything pertaining to this class or life in general, ASK.

Disclaimer

I am working very hard to keep this updated. This page is not as current as needs. I ask your forgiveness for that. However, remember this is not the only or primary mode of communication; it is simply an additional way that you can keep abreast of your child's homework. Of course, the first is your child's assignment book. There is also the call a friend to check on homework; or you can e-mail me, if it is a longer term homework question. Then of course, you can check this site.

Again, I am working hard at updating this site. My primary goal is my lesson plans and grading; however, I am working on this site.
