6th Grade
Writing:
Book Report
End of every month a book report is due. There is a form they
can fill out or they can use a separate sheet of paper. But, the information
from the handout Must be on the paper.

Spelling:
Vocabulary: Fri. pp. 45-47 due 11/9, Mon. p. 48, Tues. p. 49, Wed. p. 50,
Thurs. Study for Review Test Cc 1-3 on Mon. 11/16

of Hippo Write 1 paragraph an the meaning and 1 paragraph short biography.

Religion: We just had the Book test on Chapter 3 and next Wednesday 11/11
will be a Notes test. Test Questions will be given out Monday 11/9
Health: C. 2 Lesson 5 pp. 36-39 Do p. 39, 1-6 and pp. 40-41, 1-20, 22 due
next Monday, November 9;m Test Chapter 2 on Thursday 12th during Religion
time.
7th Grade
Writing:

Quote: Same as 6th grade. Due same also.
Literature:
Health: C. , Lesson pp. , Assgn p. 3, 1-6 due .
8th Grade
Writing: Overall, the students did quite well. Next PE will be required to
have Works Cited page and in text citations as per MLA style.

Grammar (Shurley): We need to review Parts of Speech. It is imperative they
know them. When I'm grading writing, I will mark off for using an adverb
instead of an adjective or vice versa. Parts of Speech are not simply
abstract ideas that are of no concrete use.
Literature: Disscussing and Asigning Literary Response Paper on "The Ransom
of Red Chief." Incorporate your thoughts and answers to the following
questions p. 80, 1, 3-6, 8, into your paper.
Discussing p. 80 Literary Analysis. Due 11/9 or 10
