We would like to thank everyone for the wonderful gifts and cards given
to us. Words can not express how thankful we are to have your sons/daughters
in our class. We feel truly blessed and called to be teaching here at Sts.
Joan of Arc and Patrick Schools.
To anyone who is traveling over the Christmas Break be safe. Have your
child(ren) lead you in the Guardian Angel Prayer.
Remember when we return in January, we switch: AM will come at noon,
and we will meet you in the lobby. We come to the classroom as a whole group
as not to interupt the other classes. The PM class will now come at 8:00. You
may drop off as early as 7:30. Between 7:30 and 7:50 the children remain in
the lobby or gym with Mrs. Burke and Mrs. Foye. At 7:50 they are dismissed to
go their classroom. Mrs. Foye remains at the front door until 8:15. For
our "new" morning families, because the entire campus is being dropped off at
this time it is important to note that if you wish to get out of the car and
walk your child in, you MUST park in the lot and walk across. If you want
to pull up on the curb, it is again important to note that you MUST remain in
your car. This helps to keep the line moving. We prefer if your child gets
out of the car when he/she is right in front of the school doors. With the
winter weather coming up the sidewalk can have some icy patches. If you have
any questions and or concerns please feel free to contact either Mrs. Burke
or Mrs. Foye or stop us if you see us and we can put your mind at ease.
One last thought, when we return in January, you may want to take a
minute and look to see if your child(ren) have an extra set of clothes or
that they have winter clothes. We have had a few accidents both of potty and
spilled milk. We do have 3 bags with no name on them as well.
Merry Christmas
God Bless,
Mrs. Burke and Mrs. Foye
If you find yourself after Christmas cleaning out your toy chest and have
extra dolls or loving family type toys or knights or figurine type toys that
you would like to donate to the classroom, that would be appreciated.
