Precepts of the Church
1. Participate in Mass on Sundays and holy days of obligation.
2. Confess sins at least once a year.
3. Receive Holy Communion at least during the Easter season.
4. Keep holy Sunday and the holy days of obligation.
5. Observe the prescribed days of fasting and abstinence.
6. Provide for the material needs of the Church, according to one’s
abilities.

1. All Sundays
2. Christmas (Dec. 25)
3. Ascension (40 days after Easter)
4. *Mary, Mother of God (Jan. 1)
5. *Immaculate Conception (Dec. 8)
6. *Assumption (Aug. 15)
7. All Saint’s Day (Nov. 1)
An * means that it is a feast honoring Mary, the Mother of God.
Dates on the holy days of obligation are extra credit.
