Week in a Peek November 5, 2009 Dear Parents, We are collecting food items for Thanksgiving food baskets this week. The members of the St. Vincent de Paul will prepare the baskets. They are asking that all items be brought to school no later than Friday, November 13th. That leaves them plenty of time to organize the baskets. They are hoping to give out 50 baskets to those in need in the community. This week is National Young Readers’ Week. We will celebrate by having a special reading day on Thursday in third grade. Students are encouraged to bring in blankets or sleeping bags, pillows, slippers, and their favorite book. We will spend the day reading and working on reading activities. Please practice those multiplication tables. They are starting to get harder.
