CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT
Our classroom management involves the students pulling strips. Each student will be given five
strips at the beginning of each week. If a student breaks a rule that has been established
within the classroom or within the corporation, the student must "pull" a strip and write the
following on the strip: Name, Date and Reason for pulling the strip. If the student has all five
strips at the end of the week, he or she will receive a "PRIZE".
The following are consequences for "Pulling" a strip:
1 strip = Warning
2 strips = 5 minutes off of recess
3 strips = 10 minutes off of recess
4 strips = call parents and 15 minutes off of recess
5 strips = call parents and no recess
after 5 = principal's office
