About The Teacher
This is my third year here at Cure of Ars and am so happy to be returning to this wonderful school family. I grew up in the Kansas City area and attended catholic school for both my grade school and high school education. This will be my eighth year in education. I am a graduate of Rockhurst University where I received my degree in education. I taught second grade for my first five years in the Diocese of Kansas City St. Joseph in Missouri. In my free time, I enjoy reading a good book while curled up on the couch or enjoying an evening with friends and family.

Mission
Second Grade is such an important year for religious education based greatly on the sacraments of Reconciliation and First Eucharist. I hope to instill more understanding of the Catholic faith in each student while growing a stronger bond with their faith and their love of the Lord. I hope to create life long learners with the desire to find the joys in every area of education.
