This will be my 12th year of teaching and my 5th year at Cure'. The last four years have been very
exciting and rewarding for me. I expect this coming year to be as equally fun and exciting.
Previously, I taught for 7 years at Brookridge Day School in Overland Park. I received my teaching
certification from the University of Ottawa, in Overland Park. I have a B.S. degree in Industrial
Design/Drafting Technology from Central Missouri State University, in Warrensburg, MO. I have a
Masters of Art in Education from the University of Saint Mary.
The Church of the Ascension is my home parish. Both of my daughters attend St. Thomas Aquinas.
The oldest is now a SENIOR. Look out world! Yes, I have TWO teenage girls in my house. Extra
prayers are appreciated! They grow up so quick! It seems like just yesterday that they were in
preschool, and now one is almost in college with the other one following quickly behind.
I love to read, play sports, listen to music, and get messy (in the kitchen and outdoors). I love nature
and numbers! That's why I am so excited to share my love of math and science with your children. I
am equally excited about the infusion of religion in the classroom. The Catholic faith is such
an important part of our everyday life and I am honored to be able to share that excitement about
the Lord with your children.
Through the love of God, we want to be the best we can be. If you give your
best and have faith in the Lord, you will always be successful!
