How are birthdays celebrated?

Students have the opportunity to join the Birthday Book Club
through the library. They choose a new book, purchased through
this program, and a parent comes to read to the child's class.
They also receive a sweet treat to share with their classmates.

Can I bring an extra treat on my child's birthday?

Yes. If you choose to bring another treat, please be mindful
that there are food allergies in our grade. Contact your childs
teacher to find out what foods to avoid. Also, all treats are
sent home at the conclusion of school and need to be individually
wrapped.

How do I pick up multiple students when they come out different doors?

Some parents ask the older sibling to pick up the first grader
and walk them around to the front of the school. Others prefer
to have the older sibling wait with the first grader and they
drive through the pick up line. Either is acceptable. Please
inform the teachers of both students so they can release the
older student a little early to join their younger sibling.
