					Week of October 26 – 30, 2009

Religion – We are working on Saint reports that will be displayed in the
front hall next week. Look for those to be coming home for you to edit. We
will rewrite them here at school on special paper.

Reading – This week’s story, Wild Shots, They’re My Life!, is a short one. I
am not sending it home for homework. If you would like your child to bring
the anthology home, that is always fine.

Math – We are still working in Ch. 3 – Subtraction.

Social Studies – We are beginning Ch. 3 – Old and New Communities.

Science – Mrs. Morris is working on ecosystems and food chains. The animal
paragraph clean copy is due by Wednesday.

Language Arts – Mrs. Cezar is giving a test over nouns on Wednesday.

*Friday is our Halloween celebration. We will have a parade at 8:15 and
parties at 2:00. We will try to teach in between, so please make sure your
child will be comfortable. They can keep their costume on all day, or remove
it until the party. If they choose to take it off after the parade, they can
have a uniform skip under their costume. If they choose NOT to wear a
costume, they must wear a black or orange shirt in order to have a uniform
skip that day. Please let me know if you have questions, or ask at the
office.

I look forward to visiting with each of you next week at your scheduled
conference time!! If you have forgotten your time or did not receive a
reminder note, please let me know.

Have a great week!!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Grospitch
