Ms. Jaksa has taught at Curé of Ars School for ten years. She
recognizes the tremedous potential of technology as a powerful learning tool
for students, and enjoys teaching students the applications necessary for
success in life-long learning.
Before coming to Curé, Ms. Jaksa was a principal for 13 years at another
school in our Archdiocese. Prior to that, she was a Middle School Social
Studies teacher for 15 years.
Ms. Jaksa has a Masters of Science in Education and a Masters of Library
Science from Emporia State University.
Ms. Jaksa is an avid reader who usually has two books going at the same
time - a fiction and a nonfiction book. She really enjoys a good mystery.
Technology is used at Curé of Ars School to support and enhance learning so
that students will become responsible, productive and contributive members
of Church and society. Technology is integrated into the school
curriculum and aligned with Archdicoesan and Kansas State curriculum
frameworks. All students learn technolgy to enhance their skills for
life-long learning.
