Do fifth graders have lockers?

Yes. They are only used for storing coats and backpacks.

After how many checks does a student receive a detention?

Eight organizational checks in a month results in an eighth 
hour.  Each month the students start with a clean slate. Three 
behavioral 
forms result in an eighth hour. These do not erase at the end of 
the month.

How long is a detention and when is it served?

They are forty minutes and are usually served on Tuesdays from 
3:20 to 4:00.

What subjects does each fifth grade teacher teach?

Mr. Huber teaches math and science.
Mrs. Hipp teaches reading English, and vocabulary.
Mrs. Delantonas teaches  religion, and social studies.

When is an assignment due?

All assignments are due the next day at classtime unless the 
teacher tells 
you something different.

Where should assignments be kept?

All assignments should be put in the student's binder under the 
subject it 
is 
for.  ex: math homework goes in math section of binder.

Do fifth graders write in cursive or print?

Fifth graders are to do their work in cursive unless the teacher 
tells you 
otherwise.

May I use pen or pencil on my work?

Math is to be done in pencil.  All other work is to be completed 
in pen 
unless the teacher tells you differently.

How is extra credit add to social studies and religion grades?

Extra credit does not change an assignment or a test score in my 
classes. Instead, it is added to the overall grade for the 
subject.
