About The Teacher
This year will be my 17th year of teaching at Cure of Ars. I have taught 6th grade for all of those years as well as 8th grade for 7 years. I have 2 children-Jacque who lives in St. Louis and my son Aaron who attends Pittsburg State. We have lived in the Kansas City area for the last 19 years after having moved around the country with my husband Jack's work. I originally come from the western part of the state, Dodge City. We enjoy Kansas City very much and I am always very proud to say I teach at Cure!!

Mission
I have found teaching social studies and religion together a very compatible combination. I hope the students come out of religion with an understanding of the history of their religion. Most importantly I try to instill in them a love for their God and to appreciate their Catholic roots. I hope the Bible becomes a little easier with each year of guidance through it so as to build a life long habit of reading and referring to the Bible in adulthood.
