Monday, Nov. 30: Presentations today! Finish study guide (#7) and chapter assessment tonight. Review presentations for quiz tomorrow. Essay portion of test on Wednesday after Mass. Rest of test on Thursday.

Thurday, Nov. 19: Cookies due tomorrow for Fr. Ben bake sale. Virtus class today. Bring markers/colored pencils to class tomorrow to complete Advent Calendar. Your list of 25 good deeds is due.
 
Wednesday, Nov. 18: Today after Mass we did prep work for Advent Calendars that will be created on Friday. For Friday, on notebook paper, list 25 good deeds you could accomplish as a gift to Jesus. These deeds will be transferred to your Advent Calendar.
 
Tuesday, Nov. 17: We read pp. 58-59 in class and completed questions 4-6. For homework, read assigned section in book in preparation for group teaching. Develop and write one quiz question on notebook paper from your reading for use in class.
 
Monday,  Nov. 16: Complete study guide #'s 1,2,3.

 
Extra Credit opportunity: Support the bake sale for Fr. Ben's seminarians in Pakistan! Bring one dozen cookies/muffins or three mini-loaves of bread to class on Friday, Nov. 20. Treats should be individually wrapped or placed in disposable containers. Please label them with your name and also with ingredients, ex: Pumpkin bread (no nuts). Items must be suitable for freezing. The bake sale will be held after all Masses the weekend of Nov. 28/29. Items from 7th grade will only be accepted on Friday. 5 PTS. EXTRA CREDIT

Tuesday, Oct. 20: Bring 5 pics tomorrow for the "now" portion of your Then/Now project. You will work in Ms. Klein's room after Mass while I am on a field trip with the 8th grade. Bring your markers, scissors and glue to work on your title page and now section of the project. For Thursday, write down your topic and 15 areas of comparison on notebook paper in preparation for research in the computer lab.
 
Monday, Oct. 19: Define the following words on notebook paper for tomorrow: banish, sigh, clement, advocate, mourn, exile. For Wednesday, five "now" pics are due for your "Then/Now" Forum project. We will continue to work on this project in the computer lab on Thursday. Make sure you have your Backpack access code. More info about this project can be found on the "7th computer" link. Your comparison year should be in the 1930's.
