"Who Am I?" Cube Project
Complete the sides of your cube with information as follows:
1. Your name 2. Favorites 3. Geography 4. Hobby
5. Family 6. School
Each side should be creative, colorful, and include pictures. Please check your spelling and grammar!
Then/Now Project
Your seventh grade service project allows you to interact with the residents of the Forum. This project will aid you in understanding what life was like for the residents when they were your age. Your task is to choose an area of interest, research its characteristics in the 1930’s, and display it creatively according to the guidelines below.
Page one: Title page
Include the title of your project. Give your title page interest by adding pictures, design and color.
Inside pages:
Label one side of folder with current year. Label other side with comparison year. Include at least five pictures for each side and include a caption with each.
Back page:
Create a table that compares ten different areas related to your subject. (This table must be created on the computer. Use Word. Create a table with 3 columns and 11 rows.) Add a source page with URL addresses.

Church History Flipbook
1. Choose one of the people from church history listed below.
2. Create an 8-12 page flipbook using Microsoft PowerPoint.
Requirements:
First slide: Include name and picture of person.
Second slide: Include your name and hour.
Middle slides: Each slide should list at least one fact about your person. Include the major dates and events of their life. You must discuss the effect this person had on the Catholic Church.

In Word:
Drop caps: Choose Format, then drop caps.
Centering text on page: Choose File, Page setup, Layout, Vertical Align,
Center
Watermark: Insert picture, then from picture toolbox choose the paintbox and
change the color to washout
To fix bottom border: Format; Page Border; Options, then increase margin on
bottom. You might also need to increase the size of the border itself.
Fill effects with picture: Select a picture from google images or clip art
and save in my documents. Create text in WordArt. Wide text is best. Choose
the paintcan on the WordArt toolbar and go to the color and lines tab. Click
on the drop down options under fill color and choose fill effects. Choose
picture and select pic saved under my documents. Click ok.
In publisher:
Create a scroll: Choose the banner from the auto shapes, stretch to fit
Increase text to fit: Choose format, then copyfit text, best fit
Drop cap: Format, drop cap
