About how much homework should my middle school student have?

On average a middle school student should have 20-30 minutes of homework for
each class per night. They do have time to work in class and have a study
hall time in the afternoon, so they should get some of it done at school.
On an average night they should have about 1 hour of homework.

Where can I pick up my child's homework when they are sick?

I will have a student who is in class with your child write down the
homework for the day and go to the students locker and collect the books
needed for that day. After school the students homework will be on the
counter just as you enter the classroom. (Yes, I do forget from time to time)

What does middle school do about birthdays?

In middle school we do not make as big of a deal about birthdays as has been
done in the past grades. If your student wants to bring a healthy treat to
share with the class, they can. The treats need to be individually wrapped
in plastic baggies. I will allow them to pass out the treats at the
end of study hall for them to take home and eat.

What is the best way to communicate with you?

The best way to get ahold of me is through e-mail. I check it several times
during the day, so I will be able to get back to you sooner. My e-mail
address is kpiep@coacougars.org.
