In your Science Journal, at the top of a new page, write the date and Current
Events.
Answer in at least one complete sentence the following questions about the
article that you chose:
Who?
What?
When?
Where?
Why?
How?
At the end you must document your source. Use this format:
Author. Title. Periodical (newspaper or magazine). Date of Periodical.
Page numbers.
**You do not have to provide me with a copy of the article, but I will be
spot checking them.**
Acceptable periodicals include anything that actually has a print copy.
National Geographic, Popular Science, Discover, Science, KC Star, and the NY
Times are all acceptable AND you can get them online. CNN, Fox News, MSNBC
and other internet sites are not acceptable.
Due dates:
1st Quarter:
1's - 9/4, 9/18
2's - 9/10, 10/2
2nd Quarter:
1's - 10/22, 11/13, 12/3
2's - 10/30, 11/20, 12/11
3rd Quarter:
