Welcome to the 2009-2010 school year at Elmont. I wanted to let you know that while you will be seeing me around a bit at the beginning of the school year, I have decided to take some time off to spend at home with my new baby, Kendall Grace who was born just this summer. Our long term substitute will be Mrs. Laura Brennan, who is a very familiar face in our building. She and I will be working together to ensure that these first few weeks of learning are productive and enjoyable as brand new second graders.
I will be returning to school on Monday, September 14th. Please feel free to contact Mrs. Brennan during school hours or myself at home for any questions or concerns you might have during these first few weeks of school. You will be receiving lots of information in the first few days of school to get you acquainted with life in second grade. I will see your children on the first day of school and then again on Parent Night. I look forward to meeting with you then!
