Meet Mrs. Selbach

My name is Anissa Selbach.  I teach second grade at Elmont.  I grew up in 
Topeka and attended school in the Seaman district from kindergarten through 
grade 12.  I received my Bachelor of Education degree from Kansas State 
University and a Masters of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction 
from Washburn University.  While this is just my third year at Elmont, it is 
my fourteenth year in the district.  I spent two years teaching first grade 
at East Indianola and nine years at Lyman Elementary teaching third 
grade.  It has been a pleasure to teach with some of the very same educators 
who taught me. This district is a great place to be and I am thrilled to be 
a part of it.

I have lived in Silver Lake for fourteen years with my husband Joey and our 
three year old son, Cameron. We enjoy spending time at the local racetracks 
where Joey races, working in our yard, and simply enjoying time spent 
together.
