How can I help my child in math?
It is very important for your child to know his/her basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division facts. Please encourage your child to study these facts 10 to 15 minutes a night.Back to Top
How can I help my child in reading?
The more time your child spends reading, the more confident he/she will feel while reading. Encourage your child to read daily. Your child can read to you, you can take turns reading to each other, or after your child is finished reading you can have your child tell you 2-3 interesting things that they have read.Back to Top
Why does my child have homework?
Homework may be assigned for many different reasons. 1. Students may need to finish some work that was assigned that day. 2. Students may need to do more pratice over skills that have been previously taught. 3. Students may need to study for a test. 4. Students learn responsiblity when they take their assignment home, complete it, bring it back to school, and hand it in.Back to Top
How often will homework be assigned?
Homework is usually Monday through Thursday. Most of the time there will be no homework assigned Friday through Sunday. EXCEPTIONS: Students may be assigned to study math facts over the weekend.Back to Top
