I attended Hutchinson Community College on a track and Volleyball Scholorship.
After graduating with my Associates degree, I transfered to Washburn
University to finish my Bacholors degree. While at Washburn I was blessed
with many opportunities including being named Student Major of the Year. I
was also blessed to be able to do my student teaching in the Seaman School
district with two of the best Physical Educators I know. While doing my
student teaching I was introduced to what a high quality physcial education
program should look like by these two wonderful professionals. After
recieving a part-time postion at Indian Creek Elementary I became a part of
this wonderful district. I then moved to Rochester Elementary, where I reside
now.
I am married with a wonderful Husband, daughter, and son. We have one dog, a
Beagle named Winston.
My Mission for this class is to provide a quality physical education program
that helps improve children's muscular strength, flexibility, muscular
endurance, cardiovascular endurance, motor skills and social skills. As well
as to provide activity throughout the school day that promotes brain function
and development, helping students to learn and think better.
