Mrs. Clark grew up in the Seaman Distric and is a graduate of Seaman High
School. She then attended Washburn University, where she received her
Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. She has an emphasis in Social
Studies and English. Mrs. Clark recently received her Master's degree in
Education from Friends University. Mrs. Clark student taught at North
Fairview Elementary in the second grade, then substituted in all grades (K-6)
for 3 1/2 years. She has been a second grade teacher at Rochester for 19 years.
Mrs. Clark has lived in the Silver Lake community with her cat,
Ashley, for fifteen years. She married seven years ago
and has "inherited" two young adult children! Mrs. Clark also has two VERY
SPECIAL nieces that she visits in the Denver area as often as possible!
In her "free time" she likes to read and scrapbook. In the summer she
enjoys traveling and camping. A year ago she took an Alaskan cruise with her
family and had a wonderful time!
Mrs. Clark's goal for her students is to enjoy learning. She always
liked school and wants her students to WANT to be at school. She
accomplishes this by providing her students with a positive, exciting
learning environment. The students know what is expected of them and
are involved in active learning processes.
