Vocabulary/Spelling
Vocabulary students will be working on Unit 13. Spelling students will be
working on Unit 15. I have asked the students to take their books home every
night. Hopefully, they are studying a little each night and
not just on Thursday night for their test on Friday. All vocabulary and
spelling assignments are due by Friday.
English
All week we willl be practicing identifying subjects, predicates, simple
subjects, and simple predicates (verbs).
Creative Writing
This week the 5th graders will be using the computers to revise their
descriptions. Their rough drafts will besaved on their Kan-Ed Backpacks so
they can access their writing at home. By the end of the week, everyone
should have their descriptions ready to print.
