Hi! I'm Ms. Ouderkirk. I am your 4th grade teacher this year. This is my
21st year teaching at Tescott Grade School. I'm so excited to be starting
another new year. I hope you are as eager about this coming year as I am. I
graduated from Fort Hays State University and Baker University. I also work
at Bath & Body Works in the Central Mall in Salina. That's my second favorite
job :) I like to read my Kindle in my free time. I have two children. Logan
is 20, and is a sophomore in college at Wichita
State University. Go Shockers!! His favorite activity is playing soccer. He
is studying to be a doctor. His favorite class is Chemistry. He is an RA
this year which means Resident Assistant. He is in charge of students who
live on his floor of the dormitory.
Meghan is 17, and is a senior this year. She loves to swim. She is on
South High School swim team and is manager for the Boys' Soccer team and Boys'
Swim Team. She is on the Salina Aquatic Club swim team, so she swims for them
in the summer, fall, and winter seasons. Her favorite event is the 100m
butterfly. Meghan wants to be a teacher when she gets out of college. That
makes me very happy!!!
Our mission for this year is to make it the best possible year for all of us.
I promise to provide you with countless opportunities to learn new things,
experience new things, and make new friends. I want to give you a good
foundation to make smart choices and be a great member of our class, school,
and community.
