Students in the 6th, 8th & 10th grades will be screened for Vision & Hearing
during the school year. 12th grade students will be screened for vision.
Students in the 7th, 9th & 11th grades who are new to USD 353 & do not have
current vision &/or hearing screening results may also be screened. Reports
of failed results will be mailed to the student's parent or guardian.
Students enrolled in Drivers Education will be screened for far vision as
needed.
If you do not want to have your student screened at school, please send a
written request to not do the screening(s) to the school nurse.
