In class work on structure of "How to Mark a Book"
     1. Specifically, look for the tone of the piece within the piece,
        then identify a tone for the work as a whole.
     2. Identify the argument of the essay and then identify the structure 
        of the argument Adler lays out.  Please make sure you identify any
        claims Adler makes, any evidence give, any counter
        claims/rebuttals, and refutations to counter claims.
     3. Be prepared to discuss in class on Friday after the vocabulary
        quiz.

September 9, 2016:
Vocabulary Quiz 3 given. (List 4 with sentences handed out on pink paper.)
Discussion on Tone and Argument of Adler's essay.


September 12, 2016:
Discuss Adler's essay in regard to Tone and Argument structure.
