Make-Up Day Information
Bowling Green City Schools will be in session Monday, February 15 (Presidents’ Day) to make up the day missed on Friday, January 8. A decision regarding the make-up day for Friday, January 29 will be made at the March Board of Education Meeting. In March, all options will be considered, including the possibility of being in session on Friday, April 2 (Good Friday).
As published in our school calendar, February 15 and April 2 are designated as possible make-up days. At this time, in the first week of February, schools could miss additional days due to inclement weather, the flu, etc. By the March Board of Education meeting, our district will have a clearer picture regarding the total number of make-up days remaining, and the potential impact on the last day of school for students and the date of BGHS graduation.
