What is the best way to contact Ms. Voegele?
Ms. Voegele can be reached either by phone or by email. Please call 222-3521,
ext. 305. She spends most of the school day working directly with students,
so your call will most likely be returned after school day has concluded. You
can also email her at julie.voegele@oldham.kyschools.us. Please remember that
Ms. Voegele's schedule is tight during the school day, so she would appreciate
parents calling ahead to schedule an appointment instead of just dropping in.
--------------------------------------
How does my child get to see Ms. Voegele?
Classroom teachers have copies of a form entitled, "I would like to see Ms.
Voegele." After discussing the concern with the teacher, students may
complete a form and place it in the mailbox outside Ms. Voegele's office.
She will contact the child about an appropriate time to meet together.
--------------------------------------
When are small groups offered?
Small groups are offered throughout the year in the areas of grief, divorce,
friendship, social skills, perfectionism, self-esteem, study skills,
ADHD/ADD, etc. Groups are offered when a specific need arises. If you would
like to request your child's participation in one of these groups, please
contact Ms. Voegele. The "Small Group Counseling" icon has specific
information for the groups occurring each semester.

Who should I contact if my child has a food allergy?
We would appreciate knowing of your child's food allergies at the beginning

July 31st at East Oldham Middle School. Melanie Dowdy, our nurse, will be
happy to speak to you about this, as well as Karen Black and Julie Voegele.

July 31st is Locust Grove's registration day. We'll be at East Oldham
Middle School from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. Please bring your completed
registration packet with you. This packet will be mailed to your home
during the middle of July. Once all papers have been collected, you will
receive your child's teacher's name and the supply list.
