What is the best way to contact Ms. Voegele?

I can be reached either by phone or by email. Please call 222-
3521, ext. 305. I spend most of the school day working directly
with students, so your call will most likely be returned after
school day has concluded. You can also reach me via email at
julie.voegele@oldham.kyschools.us. Please remember that my
schedule is tight during the school day, so I would appreciate
parents calling ahead to schedule an appointment instead of just
dropping in.

How does my child get to see Ms. Voegele?

Classroom teachers have copies of a form entitled, "I would like
to see Ms. Voegele." After discussing the concern with the
teacher, students may complete a form and place it in the mailbox
outside my office. I will contact the child about an appropriate
time to meet together.

Will my child's lunch number transfer from a different school?

Yes. Each child attending Locust Grove will have the same lunch
number as at their previous school, if the child is transferring
from an Oldham County school. If transferring from anywhere
else, your child will be assigned a new lunch number.

Who should I contact if my child has a food allergy?

We would appreciate knowing of your child's food allergies at the
beginning of August. A great time to share this is on our
registration days, which are July 20-24th. Melanie Dowdy, our
nurse, will be happy to speak to you about this, as well as Karen
Black and myself.

Once you have picked-up your registration packet from our office
on July 13th, please bring your completed registration packet

Who should I speak with about custody issues?

I will be glad to speak to you concerning any custody related
information. Karen Black in our office is also someone that will
be able to help you. We'd appreciate knowing about this issues
prior to the first day of school. If your child attended Locust
Grove last year, there is not a need to provide us with another
copy of your legal directive unless the court's orders have
changed over the summer months.
