Dear Parents...
Please contact me if you would be interested in chaperoning on the "Earth Rock" field trip this Friday, November 20. You will need to arrive at school around 10am and we will return from the field trip around 2pm. Please note that in order to chaperone on a school field trip you will need to be "board-approved" prior to the trip. Please email/call me if you would like to chaperone.

This Friday, November 6th is the end of the first trimester grading period. All work that was assigned during this period must be turned in no later than Friday, November 6th in order to receive credit. If you are unsure whether you or your child is missing any assignments, please check Infinite Campus. If you are having difficulty accessing your child's account through Infinite Campus, please contact the school office for assistance.

Dear Parents...
Yesterday and today, students received their test scores for the multiple-choice and short-answer portion of the Unit 1 test. These scores have been entered into Infinite Campus and should appear on your child's grade report. Students who did not meet proficiency (70% and above) will be given the opportunity to retake the test after-school on Wednesday, September 16 from 3:40-5pm and Thursday, September 17 from 3:40-5pm as long as they have:
1) Returned the retake notice, signed by a parent, to Mr. Duvall by Tuesday, September 15 (this went home with them today)
2) Completed the Unit 1 Test Study Guide (glued in their notebook and available under Unit 1 documents on the website) by writing a paragraph for each item on the study guide (this will be turned in to Mr. Duvall when they retake the test).
Please check with your child and Infinite Campus to see if they need to retake the test. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me at 228-9998 or via email at

Dear Parents...
At the beginning of tomorrow's Social Studies lesson for 4th & 1st blocks and then Thursday's lesson for 2nd & 3rd blocks, I will be showing the Presidential Address to Students that aired live today at noon. The Address will be followed by a brief class discussion. If you do not wish for your child to participate in this, please let me know via email or by sending a note in with your child.

Attention Students & Parents...
