my child be responsible for work missed while away from the regular classroom?

It is expected that students will be able to manage missing class for a short time without detriment.
Classroom teachers will use professional judgment to determine what work students need to complete during the day when they return to class based on instructional goals. It is expected that students will not be required to have additional homework as a result of attending Edge.

Why is the PTP program called Edge?

: It comes from the poem, “Come to the Edge” by Christopher Logue:
Come to the Edge.
We might fall.
Come to the Edge.
It’s too high!
COME TO THE EDGE!
And they came,
And we pushed,
And they flew.

At the end of each session, students will complete a “Look” paper that will include their
