How long can I keep a book checked out from the library

The due date of a book is ten school days from the date checked 
out. 
Magazines are due five school days from check out. An item can be 
renewed by 
going to the library and requesting a renewal.

Is there a fine for overdue books?

Yes.  A small fee of $.05 is charged for each book for each day 
it is late.  
However,  Mrs. Listerman offers a grace period of two days.  So 
if you are 
absent a day or two just return the book(s) to the library on 
your first day 
back.
