I apologize for not updating my webpage last week!  The days are flying by. 

Please check around your house for any books or other items I may have lent you.  We need them all returned by the end of the year.

For May home reading, the children will write the name of each book they read on a section of a caterpillar, both front and back.

I am so proud of my class! They were so polite and well-behaved on our field trip to the zoo. Thanks to our chaperones for coming.  It was a fun day, and we enjoyed having you with us.

Mark your calendars for the first grade music performance and end of the year awards. It's on May 21.  Awards will be given out at 12:00 and the performance will be at 12:30. The show is darling...you'll love it.

We are in the fourth quarter, and we have lots of fun spring activities coming up. But we still have lots to do before the end of the year in order for our children to be prepared for second grade.  Please help your child to stay on course by:
                                   *completing and returning homework every day
                                      (Please check to see that it's done neatly and correctly)
                                    *going to bed on time
                                    *reading every day
                                    *studying word list and math facts
