Young Authors reminder: Parents, please read the letter
regarding the guidelines for Young Authors.( sent home in the
January 14 Wednesday folder ) Most students are making good
progress completing their rough draft. It is very important
that some parental assistance be provided in completing this
project.

6x8, 7x9, 8x4 drill, drill, and more drill is the magic
formula for mastery of multiplication facts. In the classroom
we use flash cards in a variety of activities, along with
races at the board, and Quizmo. You can assist your student in
building speed and accuracy by daily practice at home. The 8's
will be introduced on January 20.

I have noticed that some students are low on pencils and
notebooks. Please check with them as to their situation.
