Dear Pit Crew Families-
I can’t believe it is almost Thanksgiving! The Pit Crew really enjoyed making
donuts last week! They were so Yummy!! Some of us thought they were better
than Krispy Kreme!!
This week will be a busy a week for the Pit Crew! We will focus on the
letter Ii and will learn all about the Indians and the Pilgrims! In math, we
will complete our numbers 0-10 chapter. I will test every child on numeral
recognition on numerals 0-10 on Wednesday. Make sure you are working on
these every night.
Wow! The Family Turkeys are INCREDIBLE- The Pit Crew Families are so
creative. I will post a picture on the website this evening.
We will finish our Friendship unit this week and in lieu of a Thanksgiving
Feast- we will have a Friendship Feast on Thursday November 19th at 1:30 in
our room- Make sure to read the note about the feast in your child’s folder
today! Please make plans to join the fun!
If you have too much Halloween Candy and are wondering what to do to do with
it- the treat bucket can always use candy and treats!
Grandparents Day is Friday, November 20th at 9:15! The Pit Crew is so
excited about our Grandparents -we can wait to share our classroom with them!
Pit Crew hugs to Parker’s mom and dad for sending water for the Crew this
week!
Save a date- Field Trip To Sci-Port- Thursday- December 3, 2009. Please make
plans to join the fun!
Over the Thanksgiving Holidays, I will begin working on sorting pictures for
each child’s Pit Crew Memory Book. If you have taken pictures on Field
Trips, Parties or other fun events- I would love for you to put them on a CD
for me. I like to make sure I have pictures of everything we do for every
child and sometimes I am too busy to get great photos. I have blank CDs
available- please let me know if need them. Thanks in advance!! Pit Crew to
Riley’s mom for sending me Pumpkin Patch pictures!
