Wear black and gold Saints colors with your jeans to show our appreciation for the Saints!

This week is Bus Driver and Cafeteria Staff Appreciation Week.
Help your child show our cafeteria staff as well as their bus driver their appreciation by making a card for them! We love our all our school helpers!

We will celebrate Valentine's Day by exchanging Valentines in class. We have 20 students in our class. Please follow the guidelines below for our valentine exchange.

Have your child write his or her name on the back of each Valentine. Remember to encourage writing with a capital letter for the first letter and the rest in lower case letters. Example: Jenny

Have your child write their name on two Valentines each day. This will provide lots of great name writing practice while not having an overwhelming amount to finish at one time. If you start soon you will have enough time to complete them at this pace before Valentine's Day.

Do not address the Valentines to anyone. It makes it too difficult for the children to sort out and deliver the Valentines to the correct friend. We want this to be a fun activity, not frustrating.

You can send the Valentines to school starting the week before Valentine's Day. Ms. Mary and I will let a few children each day deliver their Valentines into their classmates bags.

Kindergarten will have their annual Mardi Gras Parade on Friday February 12th at 1:00. You are invited to come and enjoy the parade with us. I suggest that you arrive by 12:30 in order to park before the gates are closed. We will watch the parade in the front circle of the school. Please come and join the fun!
