* These are announcements for the week of November 16th.
* Field trip permission slips are due this week.
* We are on unit 15. We are not reading a new story, we will be
working on LEAP strategies. We will continue study of prefixes and suffixes
and dialogue, that test will be Friday.
* There will be a writing activity where the children have to write
dialogue, due Friday.
*Speaking of reading, congratulations to Robby who has made his AR goal
already.
* In social studies we begin learning about some history along with the
beginnings of history of the NE region. When we finish this next section we
will take a test on both lessons, test not scheduled yet.
* In science we are working on human body systems, there is a quiz on the
first two lessons of chapter 4.
ALL D'S AND F'S ON TESTS NEED TO BE SIGNED, ONCE I SEE
THE SIGNATURE THEN THE TEST WILL BE RETURNED TO YOU.
* We will study of the 8's and 9's, speed test Friday.
* In math we are moving straight onto multiplication and division. The
children have been given pre tests for the chapter and are in learning
groups. Division is next. Test in mult. on Thursday, they have had study
guides in planners since last Friday.
* Our class had broadcast this past week, they did a great job. The
photostory projects will be turned in on Monday the 16th, they are amazing.
I am very proud of the children.
* The last 2 reading tests showed many children not studying their
vocab. so i will be adding additional work so that they can have better
understanding of those words. During studying have them make sentences with
the words.
