* Spelling test Unit 15 is same as usual.
* We are not reading a new story, but we are working on LEAP reading
and responding skills. We will work on prefixes,
suffixes, summarizing, dialogue test Friday on those skills, study guide is
in planners.
*We will study the 8 and 9 facts this week, and we will have a
speed test on Friday.
* In science we are working on Chapter 4, which is study of the human
body, test Friday.
*Math test Thursday on multiplication, children have study guides in
planners.
* Social studies we will study Ne history and begin studying things
like the Declaration of Independence, and the beginnings of our government.
*Reflections contest is due on Monday the 16th.
* Children have chosen their biography, and their project type, now its
time to read, we went to computer lab and they have done some research. All
materials are in their comp. lab folder. This project is due in December.
* We began writing a new essay that is required to have dialogue.
*The kids are improving dramatically with mult. skills, keep up the
studying! Almost everyone made A's last week in 5 minutes or less.....
* We've started working on making the Native American homes and the
other
work.
