Does the class have a snack time?

Yes. Due to our early lunch time, our class has afternoon snack.  
Students may bring a quick and simple snack. Please do not send 
anything sticky or anything that requires utensils (puddings, 
jellos, oranges etc.).  Box or bag juices are fine. (No soft 
drinks, please.) Our recess ends at 1:00.  Snack follows recess.

Are uniforms required?

Yes.  Abney's uniform policy is enforced. Students may wear the 
school approved spirit shirts on Fridays in place of green polo 
shirt.  New this year is a forest green Fish Philosophy shirt 
which can be worn any day in place of the school polo shirt.  All 
shirts must be tucked in throughout the day.

Do we have 'Show and Tell'?

Yes, the week after Labor Day week, September 14th begins "Show & 
Tell".  Girls share on Mondays.  Boys share on Tuesdays.  In 
event school is not in session on the assigned day, you will 
share the very next school day.

All items for 'Show and Tell' must be appropriate for the school 
setting and fit in the bookbag. Weapon replicas or expensive 
items are not appropriate.
