Social Studies Weekly Geography due: Wednesday
Study Guides are given for Social Studies each week! Your child
should have them to study for the test and this is a great review!
Homework is assigned each night!!!! Regardless of what your child says!
Please ask your student daily about homework. It is posted in the room each
morning for the class to copy in their assignment pad. I recommend each
student to have an assignment pad to keep track of all homework, projects,
tests, etc. This will help them become responsible for their own work and
items to be completed. Generally, there will not be a lot of homework given
each night. I do not feel that homework should not take more than 45
minutes per night. However, it is essential that each student completes the
nightly homework. It is a proven fact that when a child does, he/she
performs better each day. It is the only way to keep up with all the
material being covered as a 4th grader! When there is a test, please be sure
that your student reviews the necessary materials given for that subject.
