I graduated from Southeastern University and received my
Bachelor's in Elementary Education Pre-K through 8th grade. I am a life-
long resident of Slidell and attended Abney when I was in 1st grade. I
married my best friend, Adam, in November of 2007. I have a beautiful baby
girl, Griffyn Parke Troyer. This year will be my 3rd year at Abney. I taught
5th and 2nd grade at Abney. I
am so excited about 4th grade and I can not wait! We are going to have a
blast!
I have been trained in the following programs:
Write From the Beginning, Thinking Maps, CHAMPs, Everday Counts, INTECH,
Kagan Cooperative Learning, ActivStudio, DIBELs, WIN WIN discipline
My mission for our class is that every child will feel valued and
respected. I want our class to be "a family" at school. I want each child
to reach his or her full potential academically, socially, and personally.
My mission for this class is to guide the students to become academic high
achievers, realizing that means different things for different students. I
hope to foster a class of students that love and respect each other, while
appreciating individual differences.
