Welcome to W.L. Abney Elementary. Abney Elementary has a long and very successful history of educating young students who live in the Abney community. Our faculty and staff are committed to providing each student at Abney a safe and nurturing learning environment. Abney’s faculty is an outstanding and professional group of educators dedicated to providing the most appropriate instruction to effectively educate each student who attends Abney. Our Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is a very active organization and is an important part of the Abney school community. We invite you to get involved with our PTA as it gives you an opportunity to become actively involved in your child’s school. Abney is a welcoming school and reaches out to parents and invites them to be active partners and stakeholders in the education of their children. Lastly, if you have any concerns or questions concerning your child please contact the school for a parent conference or administrator meeting.
