I am a graduate of Louisiana State University, where I was a member of Kappa
Delta Epsilon Honor Society. I received my Bachelor of Science in Education
and am certified in grades first through eighth.
As a highly qualified teacher, I am trained in Project Learning Tree,
Calendar Math, Thinking Maps, Write From the Beginning, INTECH K-6, Kagan
Structures for Success, CHAMPs, and much more. As teachers, we are always
furthering our education so that we can make a difference in the lives of our
students. I also serve on many committees to help make Abney even better!
My husband, Adam and I reside in Slidell. We are the proud parents of a
son, Alex.
This is my seventh year teaching the fourth grade at Abney Elementary.
My mission is to provide a positive, fun learning environment so that your
child will look forward to coming to school each day.
