THIS WEEK: We are in Part 2 of Bridge to Terabithis. This week we cover
chapters 4-6. In class, students are working on vocabulary by using context
clues as we read the story together. These definitions are part of the
Response Log that students are to turn in each Friday until we are finished
the novel. THe Response Log does not go home, as it has the pages that we are
working on together and in stations for the week.
In Spelling we are in the textbook on Unit 8. Homework is due on Thursday the
day of the test. In Language we are working on the unit of verbs and the
homework is due Friday. We will have a small assessment on verbs Friday.
In Social Studies this week we are using the laptops to conduct a web search
on Unit 2 topics. Students will be assigned certain taskes to search the web
for and on Friday they will present their findings. This will count as a test
grade. This may lead in to next week if we are not finished. Daily Geography
is due Friday as well.
Thanks!
